O’Keefe wins a RoSPA Gold Hat trick, and more!
All four of the specialist contractor’s divisions have won a third RoSPA Gold award.
Specialist contractor the O’Keefe Group has won RoSPA Gold awards for all four of its divisions, for the third year running!
Internationally renowned, the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. Gold Award winners achieve a very high level of performance, demonstrating well-developed occupational Health and Safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk, and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Now this hat trick of ultimate certification applies to O’Keefe’s London, Kent and plant businesses, while the demolition division has won its fourth consecutive Gold award.
Receiving entries from organisations globally, the RoSPA awards recognise achievements in Health and Safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
O’Keefe has always put Health and Safety as its No 1 priority and is constantly working towards a hazard aware culture where all hazards are identified and removed, with everyone in the business taking ownership of safety.
The latest certification involved the group submitting evidence of all its actions taken for safe Covid working.
O’Keefe CEO Patrick O’Keefe said: “We are absolutely delighted to have had our efforts in our priority area of Health and Safety recognised by winning RoSPA Gold for up to the fourth time, particularly during the exceptional Covid times.”
Managing director Marc Daly added: “Working safely and caring for our people is our core value, A big congratulations and thank you to all members of our O'Keefe team. Their continual hard work, engagement and commitment to Health and Safety throughout a somewhat challenging year has helped us to achieve this award for demonstrating continually high standards of Health and Safety throughout the group.”
