This Design & Build project was the second we undertook for Quintain and was awarded off the back of the success we were encountering in delivering South West Lands. East Lands was situated directly outside Wembley Stadium and was developed within the vacated Green Car Park.

Following successful completion of South Westlands, we were awarded this large Design and Build early works package on the second phase of the Wembley Park residential development adjacent to Wembley Stadium. Works for this package included 500m of sheet piling acting in cantilever, capping beam, high and low-level bearing piles, temporary works, deep basement excavation (to 3.5m) and construction of a 15,000m single storey basement with a swimming pool, which spanned the entire site. 12m deep silent piling methods were used on the 520m sheet piled wall due to the close proximity of Wembley Stadium, to act as cantilever. This project consisted of a demanding programme of works which also had to fit around major events taking place at the stadium, typically one a week, plus the main contractor Wates required part of the site to be handed over in just six months.
